KRALIK & SOHN, ART NOUVEAU VASE, IRIDESCENT, BOHEMIAN, FLOWER, STARBURST c.1890

Description

For your consideration is a Wilhelm Kralik & Sohn art nouveau iridescent art glass vase with the rarer
red
applied floral decoration on both sides.  The décor is called Kralik "Abstract Flower" and also Kralik "Starburst" depending on which Kralik site you visit.  It has the familiar emerald green glass rim, the fluted or ruffled top and ribbed pattern.  The pontil is rough, characteristic of hand blown glass.
This vase measures 5-1/2” tall and 4-3/4” in diameter across the top.
The condition of the vase is excellent used.  There are no cracks, chips, scratches or staining.  There is one imperfection in the glass, a very tiny 1/16" spot, there from the time of firing (see last picture).
