Vintage RARE 1979 Matchbook The Blue Fox Restaurant San Francisco CA
29 of the 30 Unstruck are intact within the matchbook.
One missing and I can only guess it was used.
The inside white finish does show signs of some aging.
The outer royal blue color still retains its glossy finish.
There is slight surface wear to the outer front and back of the matchbook mostly on the back at the lower left strike area as you can see in the photos.
The gold metallic finish to the logo and the lettering still retains its glossy mirror finish with little or no wear.
The Blue Fox Restaurant in San Francisco was the restaurant I took my prom date to prior to the prom in the spring of 1979.
This is the matchbook from that prom date.
It has been in a dark, climate-controlled storage facility for over 40 years.
Condition: Used, Excellent with some exterior surface wear on the back side near the strike area to the left.

29 of the original 30 unstruck matches are still firmly in place with their blue tips fully intact.
The staple holding the matches in the book is firmly in place and secure.
Closed, the matchbook measures almost 2" x 2" inches.
