These are the same ATtiny84A chip which we have been selling in DIP-14 package in the past. However, this listing is for the SOIC-14 package.Atmel calls this their 14S1 package: "14-lead, 0.150inch Wide Body, Plastic Gull Wing Small Outline Package (SOIC)"
This packaging is a bit less costly than the DIP-14 style, and offers higher board density if you can handle the SMT chip.
